We used<\/p>\n<p>the craft items we had handy. We glued four (4) tiny green pom poms to the<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 bottom of one (1) large green pom pom.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">2. We glued two (2) tiny\u00a0green pom poms to the top of the same<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 large green pom pom and\u00a0then glued small googly<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 eyes to those two pom poms.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">3. I cut a long\u00a0narrow strip from some left over red &#8220;foam paper&#8221;,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 curled it a bit by\u00a0rolling it up, and then glued it to the large green<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 pom pom to make\u00a0a fun tongue.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">4. Using a brown marker (any dark color will do), we\u00a0marked off\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>the frogs nostrils.<\/p>\n<p>After a few minutes of drying, voila: a\u00a0fun frog to enjoy!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/lifenotables.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/pompombutterfly.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1262\" alt=\"pompombutterfly\" src=\"http:\/\/lifenotables.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/pompombutterfly.jpg\" width=\"266\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lifenotables.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/pompombutterfly.jpg 266w, https:\/\/lifenotables.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/pompombutterfly-250x140.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 266px) 100vw, 266px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>How we made this butterfly:<\/p>\n<p>1. We glued one (1) large pink and one (1) large purple pom pom<\/p>\n<p>onto a craft stick. (We didn&#8217;t really have to do this. We could have<\/p>\n<p>just glued the pom poms to each other but thought the stick<\/p>\n<p>would add some stability and a fun puppet like feature to the<\/p>\n<p>butterfly.)<\/p>\n<p>2. We took two( 2) pipe cleaners, pink and glittery purple and twisted<\/p>\n<p>and looped them around each other to create wings. We glued the<\/p>\n<p>wings to the top and middle of the two pom poms.<\/p>\n<p>3. We then glued two (2) googly eyes to the pink pom pom.<\/p>\n<p>We let our butterfly dry for a bit and then it was ready to flutter<\/p>\n<p>around the house.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/lifenotables.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/pompomfish.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1263\" alt=\"pompomfish\" src=\"http:\/\/lifenotables.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/pompomfish.jpg\" width=\"266\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lifenotables.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/pompomfish.jpg 266w, https:\/\/lifenotables.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/pompomfish-250x140.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 266px) 100vw, 266px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>How we made this fish:<\/p>\n<p>1. We glued two (2) tiny yellow pom poms to the side of one (1)<\/p>\n<p>large yellow pom pom.<\/p>\n<p>2. We &#8220;gently&#8221; compressed (smashed) the large yellow<\/p>\n<p>pom pom as we wrapped half of one (1) glittery blue pipe cleaner<\/p>\n<p>around it to create stripes on the body of the fish. Using half a pipe<\/p>\n<p>cleaner resulted in two stripes on one side of our fish but only<\/p>\n<p>one strip on the other &#8211; not a problem for us, but you may want<\/p>\n<p>to adjust the length depending on your desired outcome.<\/p>\n<p>3.
